We are "excited" to be celebrating the Passion & Power of Art!
A Shout Out to the Port Saint Lucie Arts & Crafts Expo! Our participation in the Expo has helped to support the PSL Arts League mission in so many ways!
Bringing art to public places:
Supporting Art & Artists in Our Community
The Expo helped to develop cultural awareness and provide increased opportunities for community access to the arts. So many people had the opportunity to learn that there is an art league here in Port St. Lucie. Families learned more about art classes for themselves and their children along the Treasure Coast, so many cultural events and art shows for all to look forward to this season. The connections that were made are profound!
Giving back to the community:
Your donation has made it possible to provide a scholarship to an aspiring artist(s) who attends the afterschool art program at Windmill Point Elementary School. The program is being implemented to support art after the art program was cut this past spring. The program will begin January 2020. Sara Cruz, After School Art Director, stopped by to visit and to share in the excitement of The Port St. Lucie Art League supporting the arts at Windmill Point. If anyone is interested to donate toward art supplies for the afterschool art program please contact Joanne Lucia Florez at <3
There were so many precious moments with the children who enjoyed creating a work of art, painting the Midnight Sun, having their portraits painted, the smiles, JOY and gleams in their eyes are to be treasured.
Thank you to Mike Strickland( Michael Paul), Crystal Jordan and everyone from Patriot Productions for your generous donation and all the wonderful experiences shared by all who visited the artists & artisans at The Port Saint Lucie Arts & Crafts Expo & the PSL Arts League promo booth! Much appreciation! 🎉🌞
